Major hearing to cover unconstitutional lockdowns, egregious violations
of free speech, suspension of religious freedoms, harmful school closures, and
mandates attacking liberty.
WASHINGTON, DC – Louisiana Solicitor General Liz Murrill
will testify before the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Reform at
tomorrow morning’s Churches vs. Casinos: TheConstitution is not Suspended in Times of Crisis hearing.
Solicitor General Murrill is expected to focus her
testimony on ways state and local governments infringed on the civil liberties
of Americans during the COVID-19 pandemic – including the case involving
Louisiana pastor Tony Spell. She may also mention the personal story of her
minor son suffering myocarditis after receiving a COVID mRNA vaccine.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to discuss the
constitutionality of our government’s response to COVID-19,” said Solicitor
General Murrill. “We must really evaluate what happened during the pandemic so
we can attempt to repair the damage and prevent it from ever happening again.”
Solicitor General Murrill has helped lead the charge
against the federal government’s COVID mandates, even arguing at the U.S.
Supreme Court against Biden’s attacks on our healthcare heroes. She
successfully blocked the forced masking of toddlers in Head Start Programs and
the invasive vaccine mandate for federal contractors. Solicitor General Murrill
also worked to defend personal freedoms and parental rights of Louisiana
citizens against invasive and arbitrary infringements by state and local
officials.
