Harvey Man Arrested for Internet Crimes Against Children

BATON ROUGE, LA – Attorney General Jeff Landry announced the arrest of a Harvey man for allegedly possessing child pornography. 

“I am committed to protecting children from those who seek to exploit them,” said General Landry. “My office and I remain steadfast in our efforts to find child predators and bring them to justice.”

Don Pannell, 31 of Harvey, was arrested on 100 counts of Possession of Sexual Abuse Images/Videos of Children. He was arrested and booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center following a tip-led investigation by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation (LBI) Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
