Livingston Parish Couple Arrested by Attorney General’s Office

BATON ROUGE, LA – Attorney General Jeff Landry’s Office has arrested a husband and wife from Denham Springs.

“Protecting Louisiana children is one of my top priorities,” said General Landry. “So my office and I will continue to do all we can to find and arrest child predators.”

Cynthia Perkins, 34 of Denham Springs, was arrested and booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center on 60 counts of Production of Pornography Involving a Juvenile under the age of 13 and 2 counts of First Degree Rape.

Dennis Perkins, 44 of Denham Springs, was arrested and booked into the Sabine Parish Detention Center on Obstruction of Justice. He is being transported to the Livingston Parish Detention Center where he will be further booked on 60 counts of Production of Pornography Involving a Juvenile under the age of 13, 2 counts of First Degree Rape, 3 counts of Possession of Pornography Involving a Juvenile under the age of 13, 2 counts of Video Voyeurism, and 2 counts of Obscenity.

Both arrests were the result of a joint investigation with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation (LBI), Louisiana State Police, and Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office. The investigation was initiated following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding the possible possession and distribution of child pornography.
