General Landry: Unfortunately, the Mayor has ignored my many warnings and continued to risk the safety, security, and funding of our State’s citizens.

General Landry: On behalf of Louisiana workers, job creators, and consumers – I commend Administrator Pruitt and the Trump Administration for repealing this unconstitutional, job-killing regulation.

General Landry: The victimization of children should infuriate all of us and shake us to the core.

General Landry: We will continue working hard to ensure Louisiana’s people are treated fairly when it comes to buying or renting homes.

General Landry: With the Internet touching virtually all aspects of people’s lives, we want to especially provide tools and resources to stay safe online.

General Landry: Taking precautions and knowing the appropriate steps to make in the event of a data breach could prevent you from falling victim to fraudsters.

General Landry: I am confident both will apply the law in an unbiased, constitutionally-sound manner, which preserves the principles upon which our great nation was founded.

General Landry: Steve’s message of faith presented on the House Floor today is important for all Americans regardless of religion, political party, or background.

General Landry: Our Department of Justice will continue to do all we can to ensure public officials act in a manner that is lawful and admirable.

General Landry: Louisiana has a constitutional duty to protect and conserve its natural resources – including red snapper – for the health, safety, and welfare of its residents.

General Landry: We are committed to fighting the opioid epidemic that is crippling our State. Too many in Louisiana have lost family members and friends at the hands of this crisis; and I hope this attempt to get rid of unused prescriptions can and will save lives.

General Landry: Just because we were not in the storm’s eye does not mean we are not at risk. Fraudsters tend to cross state lines to avoid scrutiny, and they work to obtain false titles to hide flood damage.

General Landry: The public must never forget that every time one of these videos or images is viewed, a child is re-victimized. That is why my office will never waver in doing all that we can to bring child predators to justice.

General Landry: People and businesses who deceive the hard-working taxpayers of Louisiana should be held accountable for their actions.

General Landry: As Louisiana’s chief legal officer – I will continue to do all that I legally can to protect the First Amendment rights of our State’s people, in private or in the public square.

General Landry: Governor Edwards’ expansion has created an urgent need to more aggressively fight Medicaid waste, fraud, and abuse.

General Landry: I am glad President Trump is defending the separation of powers, preserving the rule of law, and ending the unconstitutional DACA program.
