Attorney General Jeff Landry Arrests Suspect Wanted for Attempted Murder

BATON ROUGE, LA – Attorney General Jeff Landry announced that his Fugitive Apprehension Unit (FAU) arrested Kelzon Clark, a suspect wanted for attempted murder in Bogalusa.

“Working closely with local law enforcement, our Fugitive Apprehension Unit efficiently made this arrest,” said General Landry. “The Louisiana Department of Justice is committed to apprehending criminals and bringing them to justice.”

In March, Bogalusa Police Department issued an arrest warrant for Attempted Second Degree Murder against Clark. The warrant stemmed from a shooting incident where he allegedly entered an apartment shooting a victim three times, resulting in the victim suffering critical injuries.

Following his arrest yesterday by Attorney General Jeff Landry's FAU, Clark was booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Facility as a fugitive.

Any law enforcement agency needing assistance in locating and/or apprehending a wanted individual can contact the Attorney General Jeff Landry’s FAU at 225-326-6100.
