Attorney General Jeff Landry Arrests Two Men on Child Pornography Charges

BATON ROUGE, LA – Today, Attorney General Jeff Landry announced the arrest of two New Orleans men on child pornography charges.

“My Cyber Crime Unit is actively pursuing those who prey on our children,” said Attorney General Jeff Landry. “We will continue to investigate and arrest child predators.”

Alexander Witt, 27, was arrested on three counts of Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles (under the age of 13). His arrest was a result of an investigation between Attorney General Jeff Landry’s Cyber Crime Unit and the New Orleans Police Department.

Tyrone Matthews, 30, was arrested on one count of Distribution of Pornography Involving Juveniles. His arrest was a result of an investigation between Attorney General Jeff Landry’s Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, the New Orleans Police Department, the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Louisiana State Police.

Both suspects were booked into the Orleans Parish Prison.
