Attorney General Jeff Landry Makes Two Medicaid Fraud Arrests

BATON ROUGE, LA – Attorney General Jeff Landry announced today that Chelsea Sholes and Kenneth Hill have been arrested by his Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.

“Medicaid fraud robs much-needed services from our State’s vulnerable,” said Attorney General Jeff Landry. “My office is committed to arresting those who defraud this important program.”

Sholes, 23 of Baton Rouge, was arrested on one count of Simple Battery of Persons with Infirmities. Sholes allegedly caused harm to a mentally handicapped patient when the two got involved in a physical altercation.

Hill, 25 of Waggaman, was arrested on one count of Simple Battery of Persons with Infirmities. Hill allegedly caused harm to a mentally handicapped patient when the two got involved in a physical altercation.

Sholes and Hill were both arrested and booked into the East Feliciana Parish Prison.
