Attorney General Jeff Landry Makes Two Child Porn Arrests

BATON ROUGE, LA – Attorney General Jeff Landry today announced the arrests of two men on child pornography charges.

"My office will continue to pursue and arrest those who prey on our children," said Attorney General Jeff Landry. "We will bring those who exploit our children to justice."

Ryan Ketchum, 26 of Shreveport, was arrested on two counts of Possession of Sexual Abuse Images and/or videos of children (under the age of 13). Ketchum was arrested and booked into the Caddo Parish Correctional Center as a result of a joint investigation by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, Louisiana State Police, Bossier City Marshal’s Office, Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office, Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Shreveport City Police Department.

Jeffrey Blackwell Sr., 55 of Baton Rouge, was arrested on four counts of Possession of Sexual Abuse Images and/or videos of children (under the age of 13). Blackwell was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison as a result of a joint investigation by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Louisiana State Police.
