Attorney General Jeff Landry Arrests Belle Chasse Man on 150 Counts of Child Porn

BATON ROUGE, LA – Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry announced the arrest of a Belle Chasse man on charges of child pornography after an investigation that originated in Canada.

“My office and I will do all that we legally can to protect our State’s children from predators,” said General Landry. “We will continue to work with all law enforcement partners to catch child predators and bring them to justice.”

Brian Amy, 36 of Belle Chasse, was arrested on 150 counts of Possession of Sexual Abuse Images and/or videos of children (under the age of 13). He was arrested and booked into the Plaquemines Parish Jail as a result of a joint investigation by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations (New Orleans and Vancouver), the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and the British Columbia Integrated Child Exploitation Unit.
