Attorney General Jeff Landry Statement on Roe v. Wade

BATON ROUGE, LA – Attorney General Jeff Landry today released the following statement on the eve of the 44th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the historic Supreme Court decision that made abortion legal in America:

"Since the Supreme Court decided Roe v. Wade 44 years ago, America has lost tens of millions of babies to abortion. Today, I pray for those lost souls and re-affirm my commitment to preserve life from the moment of conception. As Attorney General, I will continue to all that I legally can to defend the pro-life legislation passed by the Louisiana Legislature."
