General Landry: Fraud awareness should be included in every consumer’s emergency preparedness plans.

General Landry: Federal judges are simply not equipped to run agencies day-to-day; and they were never intended to. If anything is a given under the U.S. Constitution, it is that the police power is a state and local responsibility.

General Landry: It is a disgusting travesty for the elderly, especially Holocaust survivors, to be scammed and robbed by those supposedly caring for them.

General Landry: The Senate and the Governor should stand with Representative Hodges and the people of our State and say no to the harboring of illegal aliens. We must stand together in support of this public safety measure.

General Landry: This bill will assist the State's efforts in fighting waste, fraud, and abuse in Louisiana.

General Landry: I hope Secretary Price will broaden our authority and add these new tools in our arsenal against fraud, waste, and abuse in Louisiana.

General Landry: Our office is pleased by this settlement which will help get first responders much needed resources to help fight the opioid epidemic plaguing our State.

General Landry: Today’s vote takes us one step closer to helping all law enforcement agencies in in their efforts to keep the public safe from sex offenders and child predators.

General Landry: This matter now needs to be investigated for possible state criminal violations. In order to ensure this matter is investigated by the agency with the most expertise in officer-involved shootings – I have directed the USDOJ to securely forward their investigative materials to the LSP to conduct the state investigation. And I have assigned a prosecutor from the LADOJ to assist.

General Landry: It is frustrating to me and my staff that people defraud programs created to help our State’s most vulnerable; and we will continue to fight against this type of criminal activity.

General Landry: Louisiana citizens have been killed, raped, and sexually exploited by illegal immigrants. While I will always remain frustrated by these crimes because the perpetrators should never have been here, I am grateful for the assistance VOICE will be able to provide the victims and their families.
