Attorney General Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit arrests West Monroe man for Possession of Child Pornography

Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit arrested a man for Possession of Child Pornography Under the Age of Thirteen.

71-year-old Herman Brady Jr., of Wheelis Street in West Monroe, was arrested on June 27, for violating:

  • LA R.S. 14:81.1 – (285 Counts) Possession of Child Pornography Under the Age of Thirteen

Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with General Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit, and the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Herman Brady Jr. was booked in to the Ouachita Parish Correctional Center without incident.

He is being held without bond at this time.

This investigation is ongoing.
