Call to stop funding United Nations Relief and Works Agency

Tuesday, January 9 -  AG Murrill released the following statement about Monday's ruling on the Biden Administration's push for efficiency standards on everyday home appliances.

“It’s not ‘energy efficient’ to have to wash your dishes and clothes twice (for hours). The Biden Administration’s dishwasher rule saved neither energy nor water. For families - moms, dads, and kids who do laundry and dishes, this is a big win! We want appliances that work. I’ll keep fighting these irrational attacks on families and consumers by bureaucrats in DC," said Murrill.

Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill joined 25 other state attorneys general in urging Congress to end taxpayer funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).

"This so-called humanitarian relief organization is a front for Hamas terrorists. We know this because several of its members participated in the horrific terror attacks against innocent Israelis on October 7. The Biden Administration has given more than $1 billion to UNRWA, which diverts money intended for education and civil works to material support for kidnapping, torture, and murder," said General Murrill.
