Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested a man from Rayne on December 17, 2024.

21-year-old Jacob Charles Comeaux, of Wiltz Street in Rayne, was arrested for violating:

• 14:81.1-- Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of 13 – 7 Counts

A tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children sparked our investigation.

This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, the Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Homeland Security Investigations.

Jacob Charles Comeaux was booked into the Acadia Parish Jail and then transported to Vermilion Correctional Center, where he was booked on the above-mentioned charges.

His bond has been reportedly set at $50,000.00

The investigation is ongoing.
