Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Office Arrested a New Orleans Man on 10 Counts of Child Sexual Abuse Material
58-year-old Thomas John-Hanna Saquet, of Freret Street in New Orleans, was arrested August 27, 2026, in Jefferson Parish on the following charges:

Agents with the AG’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation began investigating a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in April 2026 regarding the distribution of child sexual abuse material through the online messaging platform Kik.
Through the investigation, agents identified Saquet as the subscriber of the account that was used to send images and videos of child sexual abuse material to other users on the platform. Agents identified 10 images and videos containing child sexual abuse material, three of which involved children under the age of 13.
On August 27, 2026, Saquet was apprehended in Jefferson Parish and booked as a fugitive into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center. He will ultimately be transferred to the Orleans Parish Correctional Center.
This arrest was the result of an investigation by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, the Orleans Metro ICAC Task Force, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, the New Orleans Police Department, the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, and the Kenner Police Department.
The investigation remains ongoing.
