General Landry: Ensuring the health, safety and welfare of Louisiana's children is our top priority.

General Landry: I applaud the U.S. House for passing this resolution, giving power back to the states and taking another step toward defunding Planned Parenthood.

General Landry: I am proud of the hard work being done by my team and our law enforcement partners to uncover, investigate, and arrest those who defraud the taxpayers.

General Landry: Operation Resolution’s success is a great example of what can be done when law enforcement agencies, from every level, work in collaboration.

General Landry: Despite threats of further budget cuts, our Cyber Crime Unit remains steadfastly committed to taking child predators off the streets.

General Landry: As many of the hard-working men and women of our State find themselves rebuilding from this natural disaster, our LADOJ wants to ensure they are not taken advantage of in any way.

General Landry: Fraudsters often create fake profiles to form online relationships, and eventually convince people to send money in the name of love.

General Landry: Our office will continue to pursue anyone who may have defrauded the government following last year’s floods and this week’s tornadoes.

The LADOJ helps fund many of its own operations, relieving a burden on the Louisiana taxpayers. In FY17, 26% of the entire LADOJ legally approved budget relies upon funds self-generated, like those in escrow, to operate the functions of the office.

General Landry: My thoughts and prayers are with the people of South Louisiana who have been devastated by today's tornadoes.

General Landry: If the Governor’s proposal to raid nearly $6 million more were to go into effect – our pursuit of child predators, fraudulent contractors, and corrupt government officials would be significantly harmed.

General Landry: My office is excited to host this event that assists in high school students learning necessary life skills. I look forward to seeing our young people demonstrate their understanding of topics that will greatly impact them in the future.

General Landry: I applaud President Trump for nominating Judge Gorsuch, a jurist with a proven record of upholding the Constitution.

General Landry: My Cyber Crime Unit is committed to investigating and arresting those who exploit our children. We will not stop in our efforts to pursue these criminals and bring them to justice.

General Landry: The rise in fraud throughout the Medicaid and Medicare systems has skyrocketed, and the Governor’s expansion will only perpetuate the problem in Louisiana.

General Landry: I fully support the President in withholding federal funding from cities who engage in sanctuary city polices.

The LADOJ sent letter to the NOPD expressing desire to have better communication between the agencies regarding General Landry’s effort in helping fight crime in New Orleans.

General Landry: As Attorney General, I will continue to all that I legally can to defend the pro-life legislation passed by the Louisiana Legislature.

General Landry: Regulatory reform is critical to restoring limited government in Washington that is responsive to, and protective of, the American people.

General Landry: Since taking office last year, our team has made and/or assisted in over 100 child exploitation arrests.
