General Landry: Our office is pleased by this settlement which will help get first responders much needed resources to help fight the opioid epidemic plaguing our State.

General Landry: Today’s vote takes us one step closer to helping all law enforcement agencies in in their efforts to keep the public safe from sex offenders and child predators.

General Landry: This matter now needs to be investigated for possible state criminal violations. In order to ensure this matter is investigated by the agency with the most expertise in officer-involved shootings – I have directed the USDOJ to securely forward their investigative materials to the LSP to conduct the state investigation. And I have assigned a prosecutor from the LADOJ to assist.

General Landry: It is frustrating to me and my staff that people defraud programs created to help our State’s most vulnerable; and we will continue to fight against this type of criminal activity.

General Landry: Louisiana citizens have been killed, raped, and sexually exploited by illegal immigrants. While I will always remain frustrated by these crimes because the perpetrators should never have been here, I am grateful for the assistance VOICE will be able to provide the victims and their families.

General Landry: With NOPD woefully understaffed and the City under dire budgetary times, the Mayor should put protecting the citizens and taxpayers over his political harboring of illegal aliens.

General Landry: My Public Protection Division and I are working to get justice for these students, and we will continue to fight for all the hard-working people of our State.

General Landry: My office will not rest in our pursuit of those who rob much needed services from our State’s most vulnerable.

General Landry: By playing petty partisan politics, the Governor is jeopardizing the operations of the Louisiana Department of Justice.

General Landry: I applaud the United States Senate for confirming President Trump’s first nominee to the Supreme Court.

General Landry: My office is committed to educating the public on their housing rights.

General Landry: It is absolutely despicable for someone to take advantage of a program designed to reward teachers for their hard work and service.

General Landry: We hope that End the Epidemic LA will assist in the reduction of opioid misuse, abuse, and overdose.

General Landry: I have an unwavering commitment to protect our children from sexual exploitation. My office will continue to use all the resources possible to bring child predators to justice.

General Landry: People should avoid pirate websites for multiple reasons, but protection from malware is a critical one.

General Landry: I will bring to justice those who abuse and defraud our hard-working taxpayers.

General Landry: I believe that actions taken by the DOJ can influence the changes necessary to remedy this incongruence of policies created by the Obama Administration.

General Landry: We have an illegal immigration problem across the country and certainly in Louisiana. Unfortunately, New Orleans is part of this problem as the only Sanctuary City in Louisiana.

General Landry: As we have said all along - our goal in this case was to get justice for Jeremy Mardis, his family, and the people of Louisiana. Today, that happened.

General Landry: As a father, I know how important it is to protect our children; and as Attorney General, I will continue to do all I can to help parents fight back against predators.
