Additional COVID-19 Medications Secured for Louisiana Patients

General Landry: I want to caution everyone that these drugs do not represent a silver bullet or magic solution to our COVID-19 coronovirus crisis; however, many medical doctors have chosen to prescribe these drugs to relieve symptoms of the virus in some patients. In some cases, this could allow the recoveries of these patients without the use of ventilators. In Victory for Taxpayers, Louisiana Supreme Court Reverses Catahoula Lake Judgment

General Landry: This decision is a big win for the taxpayers of Louisiana and the agencies tasked with constructing and improving critical infrastructure across our State. In addition to having $22.08 million in attorney’s fees struck down by the Third Circuit Court of Appeal, our team has now been able to save taxpayers $28.46 million in judicial interest on top of the $38.29 million damages award.
